The Hingham Mock Trial Program is participating in a statewide competition which has been in existence for almost 30 years. Hingham High School was introduced to the mock trial program by Austin Schilb in 2013. The program engages high school students with legal mentors and courtroom experience, in order to develop various skill sets. Students gain an advanced understanding of the law, court procedures, and our legal system. Participants also are able increase their abilities of public speaking, reading and reasoning. The Hingham Mock Trial Program promotes professional relationships between students, teachers and legal mentors.
Hingham Mock Trial runs from late September through January and meets approximately once a week.
